Let's start learning to peer into the invisible

To feel reassured, we tell ourselves that things around us are evolving quickly instead of admitting that we don't know what we're facing at all. We live in the age of uncertainty and not knowing what awaits us around the corner scares us much more than a rapid change.

In this book, I explore managerial strategies to be more flexible in every part of the company in a period as complex, uncertain and variable as the one we are experiencing.

Ideas and practical strategies to make the company more compact and stronger, to make better decisions, to innovate and experiment with greater impact on the market, to better manage personal and business changes.

These are the times when a new model of effectiveness counts and weighs more than traditional efficiency, because if it is true that for decades, we have all been attracted to doing things well, now it is much more important to know how to quickly make the right decisions at all levels of the company, and then execute them as best as possible.

There is a stormy sea out there and we must prepare to set sail, to ride high and unpredictable waves, to go towards the goals we have chosen and that we will choose, aware that, to seize opportunities and defend ourselves from risks, we must be able and willing to change direction along the journey.

We must manage the boat, external difficulties and the people on board at the same time, motivating and putting everyone in the most functional structural conditions so that they can make their valuable contribution.

This is a book for those who manage people and for those who think they are managed: a book for everyone on board any corporate and professional boat.
